The Diversion Program provides work placements for the 54-A Diversion, Traffic, Probation and District Courts of the City of Lansing. Participants are nonviolent misdemeanor offenders.
Community service workers provide services to nonprofit agencies, churches, and neighborhood associations. The work crews provide minor home repairs, construction of wheelchair ramps, snow removal, lawn care and yard clean up for low income handicappers and senior citizens, as well as city sponsored programs.
